Rules & Scoring
— Scoring
Trivia
Our trivia contests are twelve-question real-time contests featuring three different question types. Each question lasts 20 seconds and is worth a maximum of 1,000 points. The longer you take to answer a question, the fewer possible points you can achieve. An incorrect answer receives no points. The highest scores at the end of the twelve-question contest win the prizes associated with that contest.
Once you have submitted an answer, you are allowed to change it before the time runs out. Be careful, though - you will only receive the points from the time in which you entered the changed answer if you are correct.
200
Our 200 contests are based on surveys, and if you pick the most popular answers given, you’ll receive the highest scores. The first player(s) to get 200 points in the shortest number of questions will win.
Unlike trivia, there is no reward for answering faster — as long as you answer in the allotted time, you’re good. You can change it at any time before time runs out.
Blocks
The blocks are falling! Can you make some words? The longer the word, and the more difficult the letters used in the word, the more points you’ll earn! You’ll also earn points but completing multiple words inside each ten-second segment — so be strategic about how you clear the board!
The game is three minutes long, and the highest score wins.
Bubble
Pop those bubbles! Match bubbles of a similar color and they’ll go POP and get you big points. The more bubbles you clear, the more points you get, and the faster you clear your board, the larger point bonus you’ll get at the end.
The game is three minutes long, and the highest score wins.
In addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy contests at BigBrain are governed by the following set of rules:
— Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or over, verify your identity, as well as be physically located in an eligible state to make a deposit, withdrawal, or play in any BigBrain contest with an entry fee or prize. If you are physically located in Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Carolina, or Tennessee, you cannot deposit, withdraw, or play for real money. For further information regarding eligibility, please consult our official Terms of Use.
— Multiple Accounts
Each player on BigBrain is allowed one account and "multi-accounting" is expressly prohibited. If BigBrain determines that you have opened, maintained, used, or controlled more than one account, any or all of your accounts may be terminated or suspended and any prizes you've won may be revoked or withheld.
— Suspended Accounts
Engaging in any behaviors that are detrimental to BigBrain or any players on The Service may result in the suspension of some or all functions associated with your account. Suspended players are expected to respect the disciplinary actions imposed on their accounts and all communication regarding restoration of your account should take place via the support@playbigbrain.com email account.
If you believe you're being targeted by malicious behavior or notice unusual account activity, we encourage you to contact us at support@playbigbrain.com.
— Usernames
BigBrain may require users to change their usernames in cases where the name is offensive or promotes a commercial venture. The requirement to change will be determined at BigBrain’s sole discretion, and if requests are ignored, BigBrain may unilaterally change a player’s username.
— Experience Levels
BigBrain will identify players with levels of experience and/or expertise with an associated player level. These will appear alongside the player’s username and may render that player ineligible to enter certain contests reserved for players of lesser experience and vice versa. Leveling up is based on your lifetime points earned - the more points you win in a contest, the faster you'll level up.
— Contest Start Times
Contests will lock and allow for no further entry after the time and date listed. If you sign up for a contest and show up late, you will join while it is already in progress and may therefore miss questions.
— Cancelling Entries
Users may cancel entries in one of two ways: either tapping “Leave” in the contest’s details or “Leave Contest” on the countdown screen. You may not cancel an entry once a contest has started.
BigBrain has no obligation to honor cancellation requests that are not received, or which are received after these deadlines, due to technical difficulties or other reasons.
— Scripts
Use of unauthorized scripts is prohibited on BigBrain. Any use of scripts, screen-readers, OCR technology, AI answer services, or any other technology deemed to violate the fairness of the game may result in immediate account suspension and any prizes you've won may be revoked or withheld.
— Withdrawals
You may withdraw your eligible funds so long as your account is in good standing with BigBrain. Eligible funds include contest winnings, but do not include your unplayed deposited amounts. Withdrawals are subject to anti-fraud checks on playing patterns and deposits prior to processing. To withdraw, simply tap the Withdraw button on your Balance & Transactions page or in your Account tab. Select the receiving account then enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
You may request the withdrawal of your entire balance, both played and unplayed. Approval of this request is solely at BigBrain’s discretion and is subject to AML screening, fraud checks, and any other criteria BigBrain deem necessary to ensure there is no abuse. Withdrawal of your entire balance in this manner may result in the closure of your account.
In cases where you have received a promotional bonus, any benefits as a result of your deposit, or have not yet played through your deposit (entering contests whose total entry fees equal the value of the deposit), BigBrain reserves the right to refuse the withdrawal under all necessary withdrawal conditions are met.
— Deposits
To deposit funds, you must be eligible and your account must be in good standing with BigBrain. You may deposit into your account using any debit card, credit card, bank or credit union. Deposited amounts must be played through to be eligible for withdrawal. If you're having any problems depositing money, get in touch with us at support@playbigbrain.com and we'll help you out. There may be limits on the amount you may deposit in certain circumstances.
— Contest Settlement and Payment
We try to settle contests and run payments as quickly as possible but must ensure we do so accurately. Most contests are settled immediately after the final question. BigBrain reserves the right to withhold winnings for any completed contest, until the successful audit of the contest result.
— Service Access and Editing Problems
While we try to ensure that BigBrain is functioning smoothly at all times, like any online service, we may periodically experience outages or slow performance. These can sometimes result in an inability to access the Service, problems playing the game, or problems entering new contests. If you're unable to access the Service, please report the problems by emailing us at support@playbigbrain.com. If there are sustained periods where players are unable to access Service functionality, or in certain other situations, we may provide instructions on how to cancel your entries over email prior to game time.
Since our game is a real-time, competitive game, having access to the fastest and most reliable connection is important. BigBrain will not grant refunds for problems associated with poor bandwidth on the user’s end.
— Contest Cancellation
BigBrain also reserves the right to cancel contests at our discretion, without any restrictions. This is typically done only in cases where we believe that due to problems with the Service, there would be a widespread impact on the integrity of contests. In this rare event, all entries will be canceled and refunded.
